Regional Economic Profile

The impetus for this report is the recognition of the growing need to quantify and address the major economic, social and environmental challenges confronting the communities of the NSW Mid North Coast region.

The region has experienced significant economic and social change over the last decade that is expected to continue in the future. The "sea and tree change" population shift to the region has placed increased pressure on infrastructure and land usage exposing some structural weaknesses in the regional economy.

This report aims to be a catalyst and blueprint for collaborative action to advance industry and employment growth on the Mid North Coast over the next five years.
